Technology enhanced, guided meditation: This is the new Muse 2

We are so proud to finally introduce you the second generation of the Muse Meditational Headband! Our designers worked hard to give the new device a sleeker, lower profile that makes meditation smoother and more comfortable than ever before. By designing the device our aim was to give the product an organic, natural look and using high-quality materials to provide maximal comfort for meditation. A true wow experience.

The headband is a perfect tool for those who practice meditation regularly, but still requires some help to focus or simply would like to track their progress. The soft, lightweight headband has multiple sensors that monitor your mental activity, heart rate and breathing.

While you meditate, it transfers the data to the application that gives you real time feedback in the form of weather sounds. This means that when you’re having noisy thoughts, you will hear city buzz or storm roar and when you reach a calm state of mind, little birds are going the chirp in your ears. Besides, you can keep collecting scores in the app to follow your performance.

Will you give it a try? If yes, let us know what you think.

Copenhagen Techfestival — Where humans & technology meet

We kicked off the autumn season with the tech event of the year! Copenhagen Techfestival is a must for startupers, entrepreneurs, marketers and for everyone who has ever wondered about the future of technology in our everyday lives.

From meetups to panel discussions, from US-based researchers to Scandinavian industry leaders, we had our jaws dropped a few times in Copenhagen’s famous Kødbyen district. Among others, we discussed the changes in the job market, how augmented reality is becoming a part of our daily purchase decisions, how to shift our tech habits from those that fatigue us to those that fuel us, what’s the key to happiness in tech companies and what makes a good leader in our new work society. Not to mention that our very own lead designer, Eskild was a guest speaker at The ethics of biohacking meetup.

With our smartphones, video calls and Snapchat filters, we already live in a sci-fi, but it’s absolutely thrilling to think about what else we can reach in a couple of years. Can you imagine a world where you can’t distinguish virtual reality from actual reality, where nanobots give us superpowers and the concept of a steady workplace doesn’t exist anymore? We certainly do!

Filled with inspiration, we keep working to form the future!
